Who we are 

Zindagi Foundation is a Non Government and Non Profit Organization working at different cities of Pakistan since 2002 which aims to reduce poverty, hardship and vulnerability, especially amongst disadvantaged people. It strives for recognition and protection of fundamental rights to food, shelter, education, health care. It believes that these rights are an essential foundation for freedom, justice and peace. It seeks also to advance equality of opportunity, freedom of self-expression and access to human services. Zindagi Foundation is an organization emanating understanding and concern, of caring services, greater towards total human development. Zindagi Foundation works without any discrimination against age, race, gender, religion or ideology. We are dedicated to the people from all walks of life, especially the under privileged, the lowest, the least and the lost in our country


"Jesus stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour.

Then he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."

Zindagi Foundation will work towards the creation of a world that God desires to be just and compassionate. Zindagi Foundation will work for the freedom of those who are oppressed by injustice, bringing 'sight' to both those who are powerless and powerful and proclaiming to the poor the good news of their human dignity. This work will be undertaken principally through the life-giving activities of development.


The Integrated Human Development of each person, which induces focus on a change of mentality concerning the life style, the dignity of humanity, dignity of work and rights and duties of all persons.


  • To eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
  • Achieve universal primary education.
  • Promote gender equality and empower women.
  • Reduce child mortality.
  • Improve maternal health.
  • Combat HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, Drug Abuse and other diseases.
  • To provide relief and rehabilitation services to the effected communities.
  • To promote peace and solidarity among communities.
